Clinical Cardiac needed a customer relationship management system to drive their patient recruitment forward. There current system was desktop-based, outdated and static. The envisaged system should be capable of recording patient details, qualifying those patients, and matching them to clinical test requirements. Their requirements included:
- A manageable, integrated platform for their data, business intelligence and communication needs.
- Collaboration on data including individual case studies; multiple closers should be able to work on the same leads.
- Tailored and scaleable fields for collecting unique data.
- Bespoke designs for standard data entry forms.
- Data to be stored in the cloud in such a way that it would allow powerful querying.
- Reports to give insights into relationships between data, and able to identify key trends.
We provided Clinical Cardiac with a cloud-based system which would deliver outstanding CRM functionally for the foreseeable future. It would be scaleable, manageable and maintenance free. Salesforce furnished Clinical Cardiac with an integrated business solution which could be tailored to their needs. A primary requirement was to have a scaleable customer relationship management tool to organize and interrogate their patient list. We created several unique data-entry screens for them which ensured that their staff always managed to harvest all relevant data from applicants. As part of this process, with our help, they were able to produce a tailored set of fields which they could use to interrogate to identify matches in patient's records. The resulting reports could be presented in a variety of mediums.
We were able to provide Clinical Cardiac with a CRM system which has been designed to grow with their organization. They have found that as a result of the specially designed data-entry screens, they have been able to improve both the quantity and the quality of their data collection. Because the users know exactly what should be going into each field on the screen, there is no missed or even miss-placed data. In addition to this, by adding multiple unique fields, their potential for matching clients with clinical trials has increased both in reliability, and in accuracy. This is a key aspect to their business and Salesforce's suitability was further highlighted by the multitude of reports available to this data. The company noted that one of the most remarkable aspects to Salesforce, one that previously they had not identified, was in having access to their system from any platform and from any location. This freedom allowed their staff the capability of homeworking and mobile-working.Clinical Cardiac believes that Salesforce will better equip and enable their business to meet their commercial and logistical challenges as they move forward.
